company history
2013
G.P.S. srl was founded in late 2013 in Ferrara. It is headed by Mr. Marco Garuti who counts on a 30-year career in the scrap industry. Starting off as the sales manager of Italian baler manufacturer Lollini International and subsequently as co-founder and CEO of Sierra Europe.
2015
An HS 800 ton shear/baler/logger and the first M-Generation baler are delivered to Germany. A further 6 orders are booked.
2017
First unit of the newly designed GPS Predator HS baler is delivered to Germany. This boosts the GPS image as the baler will process over 400 tons of cars per shift.
2019
Delivery of the new G.P.S. M7-715 shear to South Africa and design of the new M7-815 and M7-1050 shear balers.
12 balers and shear/balers delivered globally.
2014
This first year of activity at GPS was dedicated to the organization of the sales network and restructuring of the manufacturing capacity.
While the head office and sales office are located in Ferrara, the production department is based in Ovada.
First two orders arrived from German clients.
2016
First overseas exports to Australia and New Zealand while the EU market steadily increases.
Initial dealer contracts are signed.
2018
Many GPS balers and shear balers are delivered and installed. Among the most important is a stationary Predator Baler delivered to UK. But also, a mobile M5-HS baler to Germany and a M5 with detached power unit was shipped to New Zealand.
2020
The newly designed M7-1050 shear baler is delivered to northern Italy. Our order book is full.
